Model United Nations is a simulation of the actual United Nations. Model UN students role-play as ambassadors of
foreign nations. In addition, these students have to gather, interpret, and condense research information to write a
thoughtful paper based on the opinions of another country. MUN students also must be able to debate foreign policy and
create conflict resolutions.
Model United Nations has attracted over 250,000 high school and college students in its sixty year existence. Many
current celebrities, such as Samuel L. Jackson and Chelsea Clinton have added Model United Nations to their resume.
